Manager
Gaia Power Technologies is a manufacturer of battery-based
energy storage and management systems. Founded in 2002, Gaia
is a leader in the development of turnkey energy storage solutions
for the backup power, renewable energy, demand reduction,
and utility markets. Gaia is headquartered in New York City
and has a manufacturing facility in Peekskill, N.Y.. Our units
are installed nationwide.
Job Description
Gaia is growing rapidly and is seeking a highly motivated
sales manager to manage expansion of sales to corporate accounts.
This individual will be responsible for expanding sales of
Gaia’s systems to corporations in the areas of backup
power, power quality and electricity bill reduction. The position
will report to the Director of Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and close corporate leads generated from marketing
efforts;
- Build long-term relationships with priority corporate
sales targets;
- Coordinate with Director of Marketing to identify and
prioritize key target areas for marketing activities to
corporate;
- Proactively seek and develop new opportunities and channels
for profitable growth;
- Perform site visits/assessments to properly size systems;
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction through sales process;
- Work with entire Sales Team to periodically refine sales
process;
- Local and national travel required (approximately 25%).
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 6 years previous successful sales experience to corporate
accounts required;
- Experience in sales of electrical products (including
UPS systems and generators) a plus;
- Some familiarity with electrical systems preferred; comfort
with technical sales required;
- Bachelors degree preferred;
- Working knowledge of CRM software preferred;
- Team player;
- Good communication and writing skills;
- Comfortable operating in a start-up environment.
Compensation
Industry standard base salary plus commission

Sales Associate

include backup power, power conditioning, renewable power
integration, and demand reduction. Gaia is fast growing and
looking for energetic, organized employees excited about changing
and improving the energy landscape.
Job Description
- Handle and close leads generated from marketing efforts
- Coordinate with Director of Marketing to identify key

- Build and maintain local network of distributors and installers
- Perform site visits/assessments to properly size and install
systems
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction through sales process
- Further develop and refine sales and marketing process
- Local, tri-state travel up to 3 days a week (car not required)
Job Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years previous successful sales experience
- BA or BS (preferred)
- Working knowledge of CRM software
- Technical proficiency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Compensation:
Industry standard base plus commission
